Clean before you correct
Makeup, skincare, natural oils, and environmental debris can sit at the lash line even when the eye area looks clean. Use a lash-safe cleansing routine, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Cleanse with light pressure; aggressive brushing is not a substitute for time and thorough rinsing.
Use primer selectively
Primer is a professional prep step, not a shortcut around cleansing. After the lashes are clean and dry, use a lint-free applicator and keep the product off skin. Allow the natural lashes to dry before beginning application.
Control the adhesive environment
Follow the temperature and humidity range printed on the specific adhesive label. Record room conditions during the service. Shake the bottle thoroughly, dispense a small fresh drop, and replace it when its surface or working behavior changes.
Watch the attachment, not only the clock
A clean base and an appropriate amount of adhesive matter as much as speed. Check that the extension makes adequate contact with the natural lash and that neighboring lashes remain isolated. Rushing a placement that does not sit correctly creates more work later.
Finish according to the system
If your routine uses a bonder, follow its label and the adhesive’s recommended interval. Apply sparingly, keep the client’s eyes closed, and allow the area to dry before the client opens them.
Give aftercare the same clarity
Show the client how to cleanse the lash line, what brush pressure looks like, and when to contact you. Simple written aftercare is easier to remember than a long list delivered at the end of an appointment.
Review patterns, not isolated anecdotes
When retention changes, compare service notes: cleanser, primer, adhesive batch, room conditions, placement, client aftercare, and timing. A small log turns a vague problem into a process you can improve.
Use every liquid according to its label and professional training. Avoid direct eye and skin contact and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
